In our lab we are able to produce a variety of different thin sections from your sample material.(geoscience, meteorite, salt, softsediments, coral, archaeology and more)

Our lab’s high technical standard largely thanks to machine systems by Logitech from Scotland and Struers from Denmark, but we also ensure that we provide our customers with high quality services in all other matters.

We can offer you a range of machining techniques. Apart from pure wet machining of samples, we are also able to process them completely dry without the use of any wet media.

The current maximum thin section mount for all covered thin sections for all materials to be processed is 110mm x 76mm. This means that your samples can measure ca. 100mm x 70mm. This size is very effective to work on, especially in the production of thin sections from soft sediments and salts.
